Using WordPress as a CMS

November 13, 2006 · Leave a Comment

WordPress is for sure a great blogging tool. But what seduced me even more with WordPress is its flexibility and its capability of extension.

The code is totally open and you can tell right from the beginning that you can have a lot of fun with a piece of software like this. Take advantage of the powerful engine that rules WordPress and customizes it to your need. That’s what many people want to do. And that’s what I mean by using WordPress as a CMS.

In my research about customizing WordPress I came across a lot of different websites that deal with this subject. I think that these links would be of interest to other people too so I set up a group on Mag.nolia: WordPress as a CMS

You’ll find there a bunch of interesting links about using WordPress as a CMS. This group is open to anyone who wants to contribute his bookmarks too.
